Salaam,
I’m Suad
ABOUT
Psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and facilitator, here to help people reconnect with who they really are.
HOW THIS BEGAN
A path that started with my own
This work grew out of a sabbatical from my career in frontline community support services back in 2019, and out of my own inward journey. In women's circles, retreats and years of my own therapy, I slowly reconnected with my body, built a relationship with my inner child, and grew a kinder voice within.
That experience and my work with hundreds of women over the years is the ground upon everything I offer now stands on.
BEYOND THE WORK
The person behind the practice
Away from the work, I'm happiest in the small things: time in nature, that first dip of your feet in the sea, a good laugh with friends, and the quiet of my own company. I come from a family of jokers, so there's always room for humour. And I love making things by hand, knitting, sewing, crafting, because there's something magical in bringing something into being with your own two hands.
Life can be hard, but there's so much light and joy to be found in the small moments, and that's something no one can take from you.
WHAT I BELIEVE
Finding your way back to yourself
I believe we each hold a wisdom and intuition within us, and that in a world that asks us to serve and nurture everyone else first, it's easy to lose the thread of it. Whether I'm with a client, a supervisee, or a team, my work is about helping people reconnect with that, and grow the self-compassion to trust it.

BELONGING
Spaces where you don't have to explain yourself
As a Black and Muslim woman, I've often been the only one in the room. That has shaped a deep commitment in me to create spaces where people can heal, grow and simply be, without the burden of explaining themselves or holding back who they are.
